An essay on my ideal house
It changes from year to year depending on my style.
But I think my current taste will not change a lot. I would like a huge garden with stone walkway surrounded by flowering plants, a small lake and a terrace - with wooden an essay on my ideal house, with bean bags, a hammock and a Jacuzzi- where I can meditate, read and drink a coffee on the sunny afternoons. The interior would be also comfortable, not big and the design should be a mixture of antic, bohemian and Moroccan style.
The rooms will be furnished by wooden things; the walls would be painted in pastel and light colours and covered by India and Africa inspired pictures and photos of my family and friends.
The floors will be made from hardwood. I would like many windows overlooking a valley or a river.
I love art so I think my rooms will be cluttered with everything from antic decorations, modern pictures, sculpts and Buddha statues to candles, lanterns and incense sticks. In the living room there should be a stone fireplace and in front of that a rug, a huge sofa and armchairs.
As an ardent lover of the night sky, I would particularly insist that our bedroom should have a glass roof. But I think my current taste will not change a lot. I would be ohuse if somebody would correct my essay: The dominant yellow, green and beige colours, together with the light scent of flowers would contribute to the soothing atmosphere. Also, I'd like my dream house to be near to the city centre so that I might go to big shopping malls with my car if I needed to.
The library will be also the study room, so there would be a massive mahogany desk where I could work, study or read. It is possible that all these just a daydream, but I think when I have chance to check this out that imaginary world, I will do it. I would be grateful if somebody would correct my essay:
In neither of these public places should there be anything beyond a shelf or two of books; but the passages may be one library from end to end, and the stair, if there be one, lined with volumes in old leather, very brightly carpeted, and leading half—way up, and by way of landing, to a windowed recess with a fire—place; this window, almost alone jy the house, should command a handsome prospect. Nor must the ear be forgotten: I usually go straight to my room when I get home. Also, there would be rum stored and hidden there because as they say, the source the rum stays the more it tastes good. Also, I'd like my dream house to be near to the city centre so that I might go to ann shopping malls with my car if I needed to. Lying down is when I have time to think about what I did during the day, my future, goals and achievements in life. The floors will be made from hardwood.
